Pastor Brown-Horton is a native of Detroit, Michigan. She is married and the proud mother of 6 children, 4 grandchildren and a spiritual mother to hundreds across the United States. By age 11 Lenenna had lost both parents which left her wounded and lost. Many years of her life were spent addicted to drugs. Her addiction caused her to begin trafficking drugs to support her life style. Lenenna witnessed many of her friends and associates die or go to prison. She came very close to being indicted for her illegal activity but believed she was spared by God. She rededicated her life to Christ upon relocating to Atlanta, Georgia where she was licensed and ordained as a minister and is committed to ministering to the lost and broken.
She is founder of Willing Vessels Ministries International Inc., a non profit outreach ministry that provides food, clothing, shelter and spiri tual counseling for families and individuals across the country. Lenenna has plans to complete her bachelorette education in Social work with a minor in International Studies in the very near future. Lenenna has over 20 years of experience working for programs that serve individuals and families who have limited resources, including MSU Extension where she served as a Nutrition Instructor and Breastfeeding Peer Counselor. She has also served as a counselor for Young Men at The Gwinnett Children’s Shelter in Gwinnett County, Georgia. She is currently a member of the National Association of Alcohol & Drug Addiction Counselors (NAADAC.
In October 2006, she and her family moved back to Lansing, Michigan and opened The Lighthouse for Men. She is currently a member of The Tabernacle of David Church under the dynamic leadership of Pastor Larry M. Trice Jr. and First Lady Lenea Trice.
